White-tailed Fawn
by Barbara Graham
Ocala National Forest (yes, I was looking for bears again, and again with no luck). Ocala National Forest has dirt roads, bumpy dirt roads, throughout it, and I was going about 20 miles per hour. I saw this fawn and its mother, they saw me, and they jumped back into the brush. Then they came out again a little further down and I saw them, they saw me, but they stayed there this time for three or four minutes. I have the mother, too, but I don't have them together, because they were, for lack of a better word, frolicking in the early morning, and when they were together they were jumping around. It was fun to watch.

The fawn was swishing its tail around, and I thought it was really cute, so I used this frame even though the tail is in motion.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Please view the larger version if possible. Thank you!
