This capture is of the eastern coastline of Gribbell Island in the Great Bear Rainforest. I was surprised that almost all the coastlines of these islands are very rocky. I was hanging on the back of a fast moving boat when I took this image. Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop and Lightzone. Comments and critiques welcome.

1 commentsYou sure did very well do get a pretty sharp image with good detail and nicely composed! Never would have guessed from a moving boat - although I guess the clue is that the point of view kind of gives us a clue.
The processing looks good, color natural - although subjective personal choice, one might bump up the contrast slightly (very) and even play with a little boost in color/sat. But that's just a preference by me and not saying this needs to be changed.
I like the composition. Just the right amount of reflected water at the bottom and I also like that the cascade is just not exactly centered with the trees and rocks on either side just a little bit off in portions - ie. not symmetrical. I like this!

ps. Folks! Really? no comments?
