Dessert Before Dinner

An Italian worker heads down a narrow street towards a gelateria in Alghero on the island of Sardinia.  A wonderful city with Spanish influence.  Sardinia, one of the larger Mediterranean islands is between the French island of Corsica to the north and Sicily to the south.  It is a very interesting location with Italian, French, Spanish, and African influences.  Its inhabitants date back thousands of years and there are Bronze Age structures all over the island.  Well worth the visit if you wish to get away from mainstream Italy.
