Strawberry

This is a spirit bear they call Strawberry, for the colored patch of fur on his shoulders and back. I just liked the beautiful background on this one, along with the beautiful bear, of course. Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop and Lightzone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Hello Jerry, Yes amazing colourful environment. The bear is well exposed and sharp. Did you use negative exposure values when shot?

Thanks for sharing this beauty!

Jerry, it looks like you had some tremendous luck with spirit bears. I think all three images you've posted have something going for them. I like the long exposure blur on the water in the first shot. The third shot seems to feature the best-looking bear. But I like the pose and position of your subject best in this image. You got really nice definition against the dark background here.

I do think you could consider a crop from the left and maybe a bit from the bottom... mainly a "Rule of Thirds" suggestion in order to get this profiled subject out of No Man's Land away from the center of the frame.

I like that this bear is set off by almost total the total darkness under that massive rotted log!
