Visa Green

Thank you for the comments on my previous posts and I appreciate the feedback.

This is the Visa River in Jotunheimen National Park, taken a few miles downstream from my previous post.  The hardest part about driving in Norway was to actually drive and not stop every 100 yards to enjoy the scenery.  This was the case along a dirt road out of Spiterstulen Lodge, where the river is constantly being fed by smaller tributary streams.  The river gets its color from the many nearby glaciers.
Thanks,

Very nice, Rudy.  Must have hard to enjoy all that beauty sad.  I would clone or crop the bright rocks bottom right.  Nice work.

Beautiful Rudi. I love the rich colors along the banks and the glacial water here. Nice ss for smooth water and detail in the little falls coming in. Good overall composition and leading a lines through from left to right. This has so much going for it.

What a great looking falls and scene. I agree with Gary's thoughts on the bright rocks lower right, but other than that just sitting back and enjoying this scene.

Very enjoyable scene. I would agree about either cropping or cloning the rocks lower right, both bottom and along the right edge. The image has a lot of great depth to it and a nicely balanced comp.

Rudy, the glacial green water is very striking.  The addition of the small falls coming in adds very well to the balance and interest here.  This is a beauty.  You can probably burn-in the bright bits in the lrc so that they blend better.

Very nice lines and flow here, Rudy. The color contrast between the glacier-fed river, and waterfall is excellent. I think you could safely crop out the bright rocks at the bottom.

Rudy,

Excellent comp with the main river leading the eye through the frame.  This pops nicely in the larger view.

I'll just pile on about the LR.  Looks to me like the top of Rabbit brush or a bush rather than rock, but that's no matter.  Agree with Preston, there's room to crop that out.  Just a small case of border patrol. ;-)

this is an observation and not a critique or suggestion at all.  But it's interesting how the water color of the falls off the left is pretty much neutral, where as the river has the glacial greens/aquas. Of course the white water is white, so on balance all the colors look good.  Plus the small stream feeding the falls doesn't have the volume to dispay colors, and/or the stream is more rain run off than glacially fed.  All of that no matter, just interesting to see the difference in color.

A rugged, yet beautiful landscape.  I'm betting there are some Class 5 rapids nearby...

Great composition. Love the color of the water picture makes you feel like you're there! might try to brighten up the scene to add  contrast and color to the moss and trees. Boosting the color might do this also. It would make the scene "pop". Keep up the good work!

Rudy, good to see your recent post here. Sounds and looks like a wonderful place to visit or live. Looking at this wonderful site your point is well taken about the having to stop so often.
This is a bit unusual or different from many river scenes with the tributary flowing in from the left here. That composition alone for me has a bit of a twist or more interest then the normal takes. The amount of water flow along with the color is just super. A very nice image overall.

Wonderfully constructed composition and beautiful green tones. The soft lighting perfectly reveals all the details. Superb as presented although another vote to clone/burn those hot rocks on the lower right.
