Corner Pocket

Corner Pocket
I came across this photo scene years back along the loneliest highway in the USA. Highway 50 is listed as the loneliest in the USA, but I've noticed others with the same honor or distinction.
This old rusty bucket hanging on this fence corner merging point was the only thing I'd seen for many miles beyond a large badger crossing the highway. I'd not seen a badger in the wild since I was about 10 years old so I was really up for that sighting. This image was photographed at sunrise near Ely Nevada.
Thank you in advance for your C&C's and please review the LARGER version.

2 commentsMy one and only badger sighting was right off Highway 120 south of Mono Lake. I stopped on a dirt road off the highway so me and the mutt could answer the call of nature. When we got out of the truck, the badger was checking us out, then scurried below a fallen tree. Glad the dog did not show an interest or it could have gotten ugly for her.
Yep, those badger guys are vicious little cusses.
I didn't think to kick this particular bucket, but at some point I'm sure the big one will come into play.....
