Canon EOS 7D Mark II EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM +1.4x III @504mm
f/8, 1/125, ISO 800
Aperture Priority, Evaluative Metering
Imported into LR, processed in Adobe RAW and CC PS 2017, almost full frame but a little cropped from the right.

This was early and today was cloudy.  I increased the Exposure Level in Adobe RAW and then lowered the highlights and whites just a little bit for small parts of the image.

One other thing I did is this.  I never (I don't think) get feedback that I need less contrast, but I do receive feedback that I need more contrast.  So on this image I went ahead and increased the contract a little more than I normally would.  What do you guys think about the contrast on this one?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Very cool, Barbara.  I think your contrast is just about right on this one.  When I first started on NPN, someone said to make a curves adjustment on most images to make an image pop more.  It's very similar to a slight contrast boost and I still use it, though with more discrimination than back then.

This is a nice iamge as presented, with a peaceful feel that I find appealing. Colors and detail look good. I like the grassy setting and the snail. I wish there was a little better spacial separation of the bill from the neck but it works as posted. Contrast looks good  me eye as well.
