The Kalahari is in my experience the home of the finest Lions in Africa, here is one from the Central Kalahari Game Reserve , Botswana.

Yes, indeed, this is a fine looking male. I very much like his coloration. You techs are very good. Only wish I would have would be for him to be a little more left in the frame, looking into the space, rather than into the edge of the image.

Ken, I think this is one of your finer lion photos! Colors are great and I do like the expression on this scared male's face. Also the wind swept mane adds drama to the image IMHO. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful shot Ken, love that dark mane. I agree with Lon on having him a bit farther left in the frame considering he's looking just slightly to the right.
