Yellow Apple

2 Island Windows found in Vineyard Haven Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. This building was interesting to me visually because it has withstood the test of time, through wind, rain, sun and usage. Notice the yellow apple on the left window sill.

Good photo of an interesting building. Not sure if offsetting the windows in the frame is better than simply centering them.

Great find and nice image of the old place. Maybe a slight CCW rotation?

I cropped to center windows and rotated a little to the left.

Nice job on the rework. Definitely looks better to my eye.

Nice color and detail.  The repost is definitely an improvement.  I'm not sure which I like better though, the offset or the centering.  Both crops have their merit and I think it is a matter of preference as to which composition is more likable. For sure, getting it level is a big improvement.  By the way, thank you for posting in the pop gallery this week.  I was beginning to feel lonely as the only one to submit an image the last two weeks.

I don't know.  I think the weather is going to win pretty soon.  You caught this at the right time, though.  Lots of interesting features.  I'm a little undecided abut the off-center framing of the windows.  This maybe is one case where centering them may have added a bit of stateliness to the decaying structure.

Oops, just saw the crop.  Better.
