I was on one of our Pacific beaches a year ago for a very nice sunset and really liked the shadow patterns from the ripples in the sand.  This is an attempt to convey that scene.

5Diii, EF28-70 f/2.8L @ 40mm, hand held, f/11, 1/50 iso 500, aperture priority, pattern metering.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Cropped to a 4x5 vertical from a vertical original.  Taken at 7:21 pm on September 12, 2016.

Dennis,
A very cool pattern of ripples, and that light with the blue and gold is fantastic. A good eye to notice it.
I might clone out the few little sticks or stones, as they seem to interupt the otherwise perfect rhythm of the ripples.

This view works great as an abstract, Dennis, with the shadows setting off the wave patterns in the sand beautifully.  I like the change in the pattern at the top.

Dennis, I love stuff like this. Reminds me of the some of the work David Chauvin has posted. My only minor nit: clone the tiny wedge at BLH corner, then print it BIG. Nice work.
