He is beautiful, Sandy.  A wonderful capture of him, and I love the perch he is on. Wonderful detail and color.

Hi Sandy,

The perch fits the scene perfectly with the male goldfinch. You handled the bright light very well and the goldfinch gave you a nice pose.  Well done.........................Jim

A very nice pose and perch, Sandy.  The house makes a good bg, though it's closeness to sky color threw me off until I saw your note on it.  Excellent job on the exposure of the Goldfinch.

A gorgeous bird and a great capture of it, Sandy!  Love the simple composition and you did an excellent job of controlling those bright yellow highlights.  The large version is particularly nice as it shows off all the sharp details.  I agree with others that this would be a great postcard.
