A really fine brooding nordic image. The sort of image you would expect in Scotland. To be honest I would remove the moon entirely. It trivializes the image. I like that you centered the mountain but the best thing about it is the lighting and how it conveys a mood. A really minor nit is the lighter brown in the bottom right area which draws your eye.

Obviously Iceland, very nicely captured. I thought the moon was pretty cool and provides good balance relative to the dominant dark peak. Opinions vary, it seems. :)

Ana,
This an example (unfortunate) of how the larger view is a clear winner over the normal view here. The shadows seemed to be blocked up in the image and the details seem lost. The good news is that's not the case with the larger view! The more I've looked at this the more impressive the landscape becomes. I love the details, shadows and streaks of color in the Icelandic landcape you've captured here.
The moon is a bonus and I like its presence. I can't see much room for improvement, but a couple of minor thoughts. I could see trimming a little bit off both the top and bottom. There's little detail in the immediate foreground. Also minor, but also raised by Igor would be to somehow address the brighter brown area LRC. Maybe just a little burning.
Fabulous image

Ana, I agree with Lon's comments. The crop would place the summit of the cone and the moon a little higher in the frame and that would put more attention on the moon. I think the moon is adds a nice touch to the somewhat brooding nature of the landscape. The very dark cinders at the bottom do provide a nice anchor, but less of it would would be nice. Nicely done!

I like the mood formed by the clouds and the fog. The moonset, of course, adds interest to the scene. The landscape feels a bit too dark. I would recommend brightening the land a bit to bring out some more of the detail.

I think I see a square crop here, Ana. Some from the top and bottom as has been suggested. Lovely image, awesome location.

This is real nice. I really like the moon, it adds a lot for me. I would concur with the top/bottom crop suggestions, but it works nicely as presented. Fine Iceland image.

Larger version is much better. Is the moon from a teleshot added later?

Hi Prashant, no it's a single frame with moon and landscape.
