Good job on the detail, white balance, and composition.  The reflection is quite pleasing.

Very nice, Peter.  The cloudy day made it nice light for capturing the detail in the white feathers.  I love the mirrored look.

Nice exposure for the egret. Good pose and placement in the frame.

I'm having trouble understanding the setting. Where is the water line against the back? Is ther a clockwise tilt of a few degrees? What is making some of the area in the center left of the image look blocky?

Not the best of backdrops but the detail and exposure are good.

Hi
Thanks for the comments.
The background is a muddy hill and the water line is half way up the frame.  I cleaned up the photo some in this posting.
