I hope that you aren't sick of eclipse images. I was out in Madras, OR for the eclipse (thanks Sandy Richards!) and have just returned from a week in Oregon. My wife and I found this to be an amazing experience. The 3-hour drive to Crater Lake afterward took 8 hours, and then we couldn't even see the lake because of the wildfire smoke, but I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

I like the total black and white Craig.  Nice arrangement of the eclipse in the frame too.  We are headed to Yosemite next week and I hope the fires there don't obscure the views.

Nice job on this Craig. The positioning of the sun in the frame works well. Smoke has been an issue here in CA all summer, too.

Nice you were able to make it to our neck of the woods Craig! It looks like you made the most of it with the eclipse. The subtle rays of light in the flare are very attractive.

Excellent rendition Craig.  I continue to be amazed at the different color representations. Or in this case, the lack of color.  I like the stark contrast this one provides.

Glad you enjoyed your time amungst the hoards of people. ;-)
