This is one of the first year Baltimore Orioles that fledged from a nearby nest. The adult male usually showed up when the camera was not out. K5 IIs 600 mm f5.6 (1/160 sec at f6.3, Iso 800).  Levels, Noise reduction,  and crop for comp................Jim

Good detail against a nice complimentary background.  I like the pose you caught him in and the curved perch.

Nice pose and bg, Jim.  I like the curve of the perch, but wish it weren't going away from you quite so much.  Not much you can do about that though.  Excellent detail  and I like the soft lighting.

Very nicely captured, Jim. The soft light really brings out the color and detail, and the pose is excellent. Just a slight nit, if anything I might suggest de-centering with a small crop from top. The focus on that part of the perch is softer anyhow.

This is a very interesting image from a standpoint of color balance.  I don't believe I've ever seen a fledgling Baltimore oriole.  I really like the perch and the background really makes this work well.
