Cotyledon undulata flower
The plant is about 18 inches tall so difficult to get in with the flower as well !
I,m trying different aperture settings with the stacking after having trouble with missed focus planes. Seem to have solved the problem for now.

Sigma 50 mm macro

John, a very excellent stack. As far as missing focus in a stack, as long as you are photographing flowers (or anything irregular in shape} with the goal of sharp definition and a blurred BG, you will have missed focal planes occasionally. By substituting an artificial BG of one plane, or sufficiently blurred, you lessen the possibility of subject blurs, because you can close down for wider DOF.

This image is also pleasantly simple and texture free, a very graphic image well suited for stacking. One minor occurrence, not particularly noticeable or even objectionable is the fact that all your top of stem area highlights are blown. Since there is no texture there, I guess it just doesn't matter all that much, except to OCD guys like me.enlightened

BTW, this is a very hard to find succulent. Is this yours, and how did you come by it?

Thanks Phil
Had a play with various tools and gave up in the end !

I got this at about 2 inches high from a local garden centre. Roots easily enough too.

John, I love the angle and the colors that have for me a pastel look thanks to the high luminosity and the low contrast. I agee with Phil good suggestions, as usual.
