As a rule I never get close to cormorants but this juvenile was an exception. It posed twenty times, including full-length views, outstretched neck and size 15 webbed feet. This shot was the closest, my last perch being very uncomfortable indeed!

Thanks for viewing
Your crits and nits are most welcome

Excellent shot, David.  I was disappointed when you mention the size 15 feet, that I don't get to see them in this shot!  enlightened  It is a wonderful shot, with excellent detail.  Nicely done.

A nice portrait, David.  It's difficult to get close to the ones over here also, so getting this close is a real acheivement.  The feather detail is wonderful.

Real nice plumage detail.  I like the eye.  I can never get this close.
