Sucking up the city

I find myself on airplanes several times a month traveling back and forth between Oregon and Alaska. Shooting out of airplane windows is always a challenge and time of day, side of plane, section of plane, window cleanliness etc all add up to stack the odds against us. Once in awhile though I get something I like. I generally try and avoid including parts of the plane in the frame but I saw this as a small break in the clouds occurred on approach to SeaTac. I like how it looks as though the jet could suck the city right up. Even though It was shot at base ISO the image has a fair bit of noise. I did a pretty large amount of dodging and burning.

Camera was a sigma DP2M. Processed in ACR and photoshop.

Comments and critiques very welcome.

Ryan, for one of those travel grab shots this is really a neat take. Your observational thoughts on the scene are perfect. I truly can say I would have not seen the uniqueness here or had the same thoughts, but I can easily see your open minded thinking from this POV...right on........laugh

btw: I spent 2 years in AK back in the 60's. Traveled the entire state on military engineering crews. sad
