I was intrigued by the shadow of the waterfall against the rock and decided to see if I could make something of it.

Hi Ana,

This is quite nice and I think you did an outstanding job with exposure on this. You've managed to keep a lot of detail in the very bright water as well as the shadows.  Very well done!

Very nicely done, Ana. I am really enjoying the abstractness of this image as it took me a moment to figure out what I was viewing. I think you succeeded in your endeavor.

I like the three vertical layers, with the shutter speed nicely capturing the waterfall and the texture and color of the rock on the left coming through very well. The shaded area is most interesting to me where there is some spray at the bottom. I wonder what it would look like to lighten some of the shadow at the top?

I like the vertical layers, too, along with the color contrast between the granite wall and the water. I agree it would be nice to see a little more detail in the darker shadow.. Nicely done, Ana!

Ana,

Great job isolating just a small section of the falls.  At first glance I think of a yin-yang kinda thing, but actually it's more than that.  It's not only the falling water vs. the rock, but it's also about the shadow in the middle!  Very cool.  I really like the shutter speed here allowing texture, detail and patterns to be present in the water.

Well seen and captured.
