Nikon D 800
Nikon 17-35 @ 24 mm

ISO 200

Acadia NP, ME

Mike and I had shot the MW from Sand Beach earlier that morning so we decided to hang around for the sunrise at Thunder Hole; which was close by; and a nice bonus was that we did not have to worry about people wandering around the area. cool

As always thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment or suggestion.

Ed, What an interesting view that I very much like. The light looks great and I like the cloud formation. Very nice!

Beautiful light and location. The longish exposure is perfect.

Ed, congrats on the WP pick here. I missed this in the weekly run and just noticed this fine image in the WP listing. The light on the landing and cliff side are just super......laugh

btw: as a LF photographer I saw a Youtube by another LF photog just recently and he was photographing this same location. I was unaware of this site in Acadia until seeing that video...sad
