Female Grosbeak

Black-headed Grosbeak.  This one graced me with her presence today and was nice enough to pose in front of an old stump and show off how well her colors blend with it.  She had excellent timing for the weekly challenge.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 335 mm, tripod with ball head and Wimberley Sidekick, f/8, 1/1600, iso 400, aperture priority, pattern metering, -2/3 EV.  Cropped from a horizontal original to  a full height 4x5.  Taken at 9:05 am today just as the sun was breaking through some morning clouds.

Your comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks,
