A few of our day lilies are still blooming and I was delighted to find this pair stretching out to the rising sun yesterday morning. All comments welcome.>=))>

Great minds, eh?Upon viewing before reading your post, my initial impression was that this lovely pair was reaching out for the morning sun.

Very nice shot of a pair of flowers. I personally would have toned down the bright parts of the flowers just a bit. My day lilies are full of buds but no blossoms yet.

Nice image of these lovely lilies, Bill. It also looks to me like maybe the lily to our left is a bit hot in a couple of places. Otherwise, a lovely shot, and sharp focus all the way through.

The subjects fit well in the frame. The flowers are crisp and clear. The BG is fairly minimized, but has enough variety to bring location into the mix. It seems to me that some of the highlights are pushing into hot, and that the lilies could benefit from some reduced brightness.

Unusual to see daylillies at peak bloom bloooming side by side. Frame filling delightful with excellent morning light and a nice contrasting bg, Bill.

Sweet, Bill. Excellent light and f/16 worked perfectly for this pair. Very well done.

Bill. your portraits of the lilies are always beautiful but I agree with the feeling of almost blowing up lights in some parts of the flowers.
