Rainy Day Fun

Trumpeter Swans enjoying the rain (unlike myself).  The rain isn't obvious at first but if you look at the large version you can see all the individual rain drops that are within the focal range.  I was surprised that they were still visible in the 1500 pixel version sized for this site.

Sony a6500, FE 70-200 f2.8 GM @ 198mm, ISO-100, f/6.3, 1/2000, hand held.

A very nice scene with great interaction between the two center swans, Gary.  I really like the two slightly different poses.  Your choice of a centered composition really works well and you have excellent detail and exposure in the swans.  Well done.

I like the poses you caught in the center two swans.

Looks like sibling juveniles at play.  Well seen and captured.

Hi Gary
Nice action shot, but maybe you could crop the top of the frame down to the first tree line?

A real good look at these Trumpeter Swans interacting.  I'm really impressed with the level of detail that your camera provides.  This is a nicely composed image with pleasant layers of color.

Great job catching two of them with there wings out, Gary. Very nice detail in the swans in this subdued light.
