Red God

I took this photo of this very different deity in a small town in India. My guide, the gentleman in the red turban, did not know the name of the god or its nature. I liked the unusualness of this deity in comparison to what is normally seen as well as street activity. Olympus E-M1 and 12-40 lens at 1/640, f/6.3 and ISO 200. Richard

Complex image. I am enjoying its exploration. Lots of color and lifestyle elements.

Great travel photo. The red turban does a nice job of balancing the shiny red deity and the two men look very deep in conversation.
A nice slice of life in a very different world from our own.

Fascinating image, Richard !  The composition is excellent - divided into two complementary halves - and the way the red of the turban picks up on the red of the image is very appealing.
