OK it might not look just like me but ...

While hiking in the Mt. Rainier National Park yesterday I saw this mummy-like face in the log next to the trail. I added some contrast and clarity overall, and increased shadows and blacks to the mouth and right eye (his left eye), otherwise this is basically right out of the camera.

D7000, ISO 800, 35mm, f5.6

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

This is pretty bizarre. If it really was a self-portrait you'd be in big trouble, Steve. I think your processing is minimal but this looks really nice, and it makes me smile. :)

Steve, Nice find. At first I thought this must be from Forks area what with all the strange stuff there. I'm not sure you should be in the vicinity at midnight. I think this creature probably emerges and does its thing before sunrise.

That is creepy Steve. I love it. What a great eye to catch this on the tgrail. Your lightly touched rendition really brings this to life. I think Jim is right, stay away at night.
