Hi Ingrid,

A nice landscape combo with the giraffe placed in an ideal spot in the frame. At first glance, I wished that the pelicans were in focus too, but now realize that they would compete with the giraffe as the main subject. The parallel elements in the BG and the horizontal comp add to the expansive nature of this scene......................Jim

Very clean, very simple, very nice. Just a solid shot. From a compositional perspective I think it was critical that the pelicans were thrown out of focus (so good choice on the wide aperture).

Nice comp and great subjects. I like the colors in this, too. The pastel colors make this a really pleasing image to look at. Nice.
