Spring on Mission Creek

The spring greens were glowing nicely last week in the mountain foothills of Montana.  This view looks north down the Mission Creek drainage and across the Yellowstone (not seen) to the Crazy Mountains in the distance.  (5D3, 70-200 @ 120mm, 1/25s, f/16, iso 200, tripod and polarizer)

Looks like paradise Mark, I've been to long away from the Yellowstone area. Thanks for sharing it, reminds me I have to get back there (in Spring time that is). devil

I was there not too long ago and the grasslands had not colored up yet. Very nice scene, colors look spot on......................Jim

Mark, What a beautiful and inviting scene this is. One of those pictures that just makes me want to be there. Very nice work!

Beautifully done, Mark 1  The horses grazing somehow make the scene for me - helps establish the peacefulness of the scene, like those tiny clouds drifting in from the right.

This is a wonderfully tranquil and colorful scene Mark.  Yes, it definitely makes you want to be there.

A very nice and expansive landscape, Mark!  The horses make it much more interesting than it would be without them.  The large version is particularly nice and it has much more presence (puts you right there to enjoy the view)!
