Believe it or not, this was, originally, a lyre spider on a pink rose. After a time in the digital darkroom with some artistic vision and now, it looks kind of like buildings.... True Modern Art
I think, it's pretty cool...Hope you like it, too.

Hi Lucy,
I'm vastly underqualified to evaluate an image like this. There are some interesting repetition of colors which have been arranged in artistic fashion in the comp. The alternating patterns of green and white plus pinks are what catches my eye. Good job getting this one.........................Jim

I know, it's unusual....but I just kept changing distortions and extrusion and ended up with this. Couldn't sleep...
I really like it...but it is NOTHING like the lyre spider I started with. The arrangement of shapes and colors are what attract me to the photo. But, as I said, it is definitely modern art! So, I'll let the eye of the beholder figure it out
The bright green is the spider...the pink and white are the rose...the dark green, green and beige are the leaves and BG, and the orange is the center (stamens) of the rose.
I hope others give me their opinion as to whether they like it and if I could sell it.

I like the color combinations, the shapes and the choice of a pano format. Very often an abstract is more pleasing to view than the original subject (I hate spiders). I applaud your creation and the feeling it conveys. I thoroughly enjoy the process of creating or enhancing my original images at least as much as taking them in the first place. Both have their place... they are different but equal in importance. Enjoy!

Thank you Patricia...I love your artistic expression in your images! I have come to the opinion, that everyone has a digital camera, so ...once in a while...everybody gets a nice shot. But, by artistically interpreting the image places it into the category of fine art. This "transformation" gives each shot a personal, stylistic impression, that cannot be easily duplicated. But, can be thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
