Hi all.
Here is one more phlox photo from my phlox shooting this year.
Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Focus on the center only is perfect here. love the lavender and yellow colours, but not so sure about the 3 dark areas. they seem to draw my eye from an otherwise gorgeous image.

Nicely done, Nathan. I like the pof amid the wash, and the faded twin in the lrc. Precise/sharp pof and excellent dof managment, especially for shot hh while laying on the ground.

Steady hands! The Sigma 180 macro isn't a light weight. I think I like this latest Phlox shot the best so far. It is well composed, with the dark areas leading the eyes to the main in focus center. The OOF bloom provides a nice echo.

Excellent composition and great handling of the dof, Nathan, with just enough sharpness. You presumably felt this best slightly muted - I just wonder whether the brightness might come up a touch ?

I have to agree, the DOF is great here.

Wonderful, so delicate and dreamy. I love the echo on the right and the thin black frame which holds it all in.

Nathan, I like your composition very much. Just enough sharpness in a lilac cloud. My only suggestion might be to add a touch more contrast. Nicely done!
