Yet another from Padre Island National Seashore.  This Sanderling let me get rather close and this is a full frame image.

7D2, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600 mm, hand held, f/8, 1/1600, iso 640, Manual exposure.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Taken April 13th at 7:43 AM.

Comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks,

Like the soft, morning light here Dennis and the droplet falling off the foot. Might be tempted to remove the spot diagonal to the foot and LH corner.

Lovely wader shot Dennis. I know how tricky these can be. My old  problem with reflections pops up again.  I wonder if the whole was included it would be better but then of course you loose the image size. At least the reflection is blurred which helps.
Great shot whatever.
Cheers

Very pleasing light and detail.  I'm not bothered by the partial reflection.  I suppose another alternative would be to get down on your belly which would involve getting wet...

Very nice, especially for hand held at that focal length. Nice light; excellent detail. The composition, including partial reflection, works for me.

Hi Dennis
Nice low angle and action.  These small Shore bird are fun to photograph.

Really good morning light and foot position, Dennis.  Being quite numerous on the Gulf Coast, I well know how much of a challenge these frenetic little speedsters can be especially at close range.  The low camera position works quite well for me.  I personally think that backing off from 600 would have made for a far better image from which to work. The reflection of legs, the tail and the angle of the water patterns suggest it needs a few degrees CW rotation, and a shorter focal length would allow that, as well as better comp options (the space behind the tail is a bit cramped).  I know I'm being a bit critical, but that's why I post on this site, and I expect others to do the same for me to improve my own photography.

Low pov and great light with a classic Sanderling pose Dennis. I would remove the spot towards the bottom left. It doesn't appear to be a water drop, I'm not sure what it is. The partial reflection works fine for me too. Nice work!
