I've been shooting a lot as our garden is going crazy with new blooms every day but have had little time for processing and posting. Here a giant Gerbera daisy greets the dawn. All comments welcome.>=))>

Love the side-lighting, Bill, which gives a feel of the time of day, and the shift from pink to yellow tones.  You've caught a real sense of vitality - the flower seems to be bursting out of the frame !!  Also wonder how it would look flipped horizontally ?

I love this, especially the side lighting! I like how the colors change across the face of the flower, from being back-lit to front-lit.

Impressive floral subject from your garden, Bill. A frame filling beauty. Like Phil, I like the strong sidelighting.

Beautiful morning light.  Gerbera daisies are so beautiful.  I got heavily into gardening for two or three years a while back, and drove everywhere to get all kinds of stuff, but the one thing I couldn't keep alive was Gerbera daisies.  It was odd, because I had read somewhere that it was impossible to kill them.  The detail and DOF on this is, as always, perfect.

Excellent photo, Bill.  Great side-lighting and wonderful lines.  Wouldn't change anything about it!
