River Crossing

I captured this young bull crossing the Madison River in Yellowstone. He had just responded to a larger bull, but thought better of it and decided to cross the Madison to avoid a confrontation. Processed using Lightroom CC (2015) and Photoshop CC (2017) along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

The color and the environment are nice and the ripples of water in front of him. I would like to see him a little farther to the right of the image.

Nice environment.  The detail in the larger version is great.

I really like the subtle sense of reflection and the mood of rich soft color, overall.  That said, the lighting (all beyond your control) seems a little flat.  A tiny nit for my eye is the end of the log that breaks the line of his body, protruding above his rump.  Richard's point that he seems a bit centered deserves some thought, but I am not sure how I would alter this, giving what we see here.

Jerry,
I like this , undoubtedly a little more light would have been useful, but it has not really distracted from the overall mood.
