Queen of the Mountains

I've been pretty busy lately with a new addition at home, while also hitting the road again finally, so I haven't had a chance to participate here as much as I'd wish.  Sorry I've missed some of the nice work being posted the last several weeks.

This morning, I'm heading out the door to fly down to Chile, where my tour group will be looking for pumas in Patagonia.  This is a shot from my scouting trip last year.  When we came across this female napping on a ledge, I tried to work out a way to line her up with the mountain in the background.  Luckily, she raised her head and started staring intently at some potential prey in the distance.  Hopefully we'll be fortunate enough to see her again, as she provided some spectacular photo opportunities a year ago.
