Our osprey have eggs in the nest!
The male, here, does most of the hunting, and the female does most of the incubating, but they do trade off.
Mating behavior several days ago, and ongoing, so we expect chicks around the first of June, if all goes well.

Well done, Sandy! An excellent BIF with prey. I wouldn't mind having this in my files. Shoot, I wouldn't mind catching a fish that size!sad

Nice one, Sandy.  I like the wing position and the angle of the fish.

Hi Sandy
Nice to see the Ospreys back in action. I like the eye contact and birds angle in flight.

Another nice osprey shot.  They sure are fun to watch.  Unfortunately my remote control is unable to get them close enough to get the detail I need to post an image so far.  Their nest is several miles away from my house so they only come down when the tide is ideal for fishing.
