I was able to spend some time at the hot springs at Yellowstone Ntl. Park. This one was a lot of fun to work with in CS5.  I used some luminosity masks to bring up some of the colors, adjusted contrast, and cropped for comp.  Park.K5 IIs 18-35 f1.8 (1/50 sec at f16, ISO 160.................................Jim

Very cool Jim.  Like the patterns you sometimes find on a sandy beach but on steroids.  Love the subtle change of hue from tan to steely blue.

Very cool.  Might crop just below the redish line at the top for more cohesive abstractness.  Fun catch!

Ahh yes, the runoff from Grand Prismatic, Jim.  You've done a great job of emphasizing the lines of travertine while including some of the overall color changes and a bit of reflected sky at the top.  This captures the ground view very well.

Jim,

Good eye to capture this natural abstract.  The "veins" are fun to study and I like how they begin to fan out near the top.  I would agree with Aaron in cropping to remove the horizontal element up top, but that's minor.

Well seen and processed.

Cool abstract. I played with the suggested crop and I prefer it as posted. The top adds nice tension and interest for me. Real nice image.

Compelling abstract Jim. Those lines work well.
