Harvesting Wheat

On a recent trip to India, I saw a group of women harvesting wheat by hand. I liked the contrast of the vibrant colors of the woman's dress against the more muted color of the wheat field. Olympus E-M1 and 12-40 lens at 1/250, f/6.3 and ISO 200. Richard

Very striking image. The colour contrasts are remarkable.
Fine image!

Rather amazing people still do this parts of the world.  Last summer I was photo'ing three men harvesting wheat in my state.  The machine was cutting a 50 ft. swath, the field was half a square mile.

Beautiful color and culture here Richard. Nice rich wheat and great action shot of the harvest activity.
