The sporadic bushes make a nice break in the sea of yellow and add additional depth.  The slightly shaded FG works well here - not abrupt but places some emphasis on the distant areas.  The cloud is an interesting element, but for some reason, I keep staring back at it.  So, not sure if it adds or takes away from the rest.  Maybe others have an opinion on this.  Maybe competes with the mnts?.

I love the flowers that appear like this at this time of year. I find the land with the 'gully' and bushes to add a lot to the composition. But overall the sky isn't holding up it's part of the canvas. I would diminish the amount of space allocated to it somehow.

That's a lot of gold man. Flowers, mountains, gully, bushes are all great. Clouds are interesting, but may be somewhat distracting from the main event here.

Beautiful again, Harley. The light is wonderful for the foreground flowers and mountain. I tend to agree with others that while the cloud in the sky is nice, there may be too much sky. However, I can't see how you can crop any of the sky, unless you actually crop this below the cloud and substantially change the format, which may not be a bad thing.

What a beautiful scene Harley.  I can just get lost in the FG and yellow flowers.  There's so much to explore and peek at that the mountains are almost an afterthought.  Speaking of mountains, I like how the color in the mountains match the field colors too.  For me, the sky could be cropped somewhat though, especially over the dark line as that darker area really disrupts the sky IMHO.

Another beauty.  I love the scattered bushes to break up the yellow.  I gotta agree on the sky.  I think I'd be inclined to make a pano, cropping the just below the big cloud.  Did you lose your 70-200?  I can't help but think there are some pretty nice images without the sky at all.

Hey Harley,

A beautiful spring wildflower landscape.  The comp works very nicely with that draw leading the eye in to the frame. The scattering of the larger bushes is a great element as well.  the colors and processing look great.

Not jumpin' on the bandwagon just cause there seems to be a consensus... but I agree about the big, long cloud; nothing wrong with it per se, it just doesn't seem to fit the scene.  Clearly though it was intriguing enough to include in the landscape and I'm guessing it was more impressive to view and experience than is translating for the viewer.  No biggie really, still a beautiful landscape.  Oh, and the mountain range anchors the scene nicely.

Wow, I've got to get down there. Hopefully there are more superblooms in my lifetime! The little ravine adds to the sea of yellow, and I love the splotches of yellow on the distant hills.
