Balan this is a really interesting look at the damsel fly. It looks like it is taking a drink through a giant straw. I would like to know your settings for aperture, shutter speed, iso, etc. It seems to be just a little bit soft as the size is increased.

The simplicity of this view and the fine glow in both the grass stem and the damselfly look great, Balan. This looks like an idea well worth pursuing, where getting the entire background brighter (like the upper center region) would work well. Yes, I'm well aware of how challenging that is likely to be with needing the stem and damsel in the same plane and no surroundings in front or behind...but I thought you needed a challenge.

Simple and cute, Balan. Beautiful back lighting and translucency. Looks like it is playing an alphorn.
