Nice job, Jerry.  It takes them forever and usually they seem to change their minds before they get off the water.  A beautiful angle to boot and some sweet light.  Very well done.

Best Coot shot I have seen. The only thing I could see to make it better would have been if I took the shot!sad

This is an excellent capture Jerry. Love the feet hanging down and the feather detail is remarkable. Great pose, comp and bg.

Your persistence paid off. Jerry. Great action shot with really nice detail in the blacks. Well worth all of your waiting.

This is really nice Jerry.  You got terrific exposure on the blacks against a superior background which makes the bird pop nicely.  Lovely detail.  Funny thing, I always thought these were flightless birds.  I don't think I've ever seen one fly.  This is some feet!!!

Nice catch, Jerry ! Fast flyers, usually they run over water, hardly ever really taking of. Great work devil, Cheers,  Hans
