Hard to believe, but this one is now from a week ago.  Another from Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center in Port Aransas, Texas.

7D2, Sigma 150-600 C @ 388 mm, f/7.1, 1/160, iso 800, aperture priority, pattern metering, +2/3 EV (I didn't realize just how dark it was down there, or I would have bumped the iso a bit more).  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Full frame.  Taken at 8:59 AM on March 25th.

Comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks,

Nice habitat shot of this shy guy. He looks like he's watching you carefully.  devil

Nice. Typically blending into the background.

Great eye contact Dennis. The camouflage effect is very cool and I like the green grass for the added color.

A very interesting bird with an amazing feather pattern.  Really needs to be seen large in order to get the full effect.  It pops in the larger view whereas the background is a little more distracting in the smaller view.

A belter of a Snipe image Dennis, reminds me of my good friend Keith, who has also produced some superb images, ex NPN member. Nice plumage detail and sharpness, low POV is key to this image. Personally if ethics allow, I would loose the stick point up close to the feet, easy within PSCC. I would also consider double processing the image and darken the backdrop to emphasis more the subject here.
