I was out with a couple of friends that are artists. I was showing them some of the old abandoned farms that I had found. This house is on an old farm that has been abandoned for a long time. I really liked the way the light played in side the house. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Really niece Richard, I'm a sucker for old abandoned farmsteads also. A lot of interesting relics to explore in our part of the plains. I always try to image the amount of work and memories that went into these old farmsteads. And how sad when they had given up and moved on. Each one is so unique and interesting, thanks for posting this wonderful old home. devil

Excellent.  This one is very stark and moody.  The B&W works great. Good stuff.

Richard,

Who knows what stories lie within these walls, perhaps many sad ones.  Who knows. But I love these old buildings too.  I think you've done a great job in capturing the mood and the imagination of what those stories might have been.

The only suggest I have would be a slight crop from the right to eliminate the oof wall. I suppose you could also do some perspective/skew work if you so desired.  But otherwise, this is well seen and captured!

Almost reminds me of a "Dustbowl Documentary from the 20's".  The building is probably that old.  Very moody and well done BW.
