I tried something a little different with this one. Taken in Lamar valley of Yellowstone.

Canon 5D3 EF 70-200 F/2.8 II @ 125 mm

1/500s    F/22   ISO 400.

Cheers,

Hisham.

Great concept, nicely executed!
IMHO a touch more room at the top will help.

The pattern of footprints is wonderful Hisham, I too would have preferred a bit more room on top. devil

Hi Hisham,

This is really interesting...nicely seen, nicely captured. I do agree with the previous two who mentioned that a tad more room on top would probably add to the image. And...on the technical side (and easily remedied)...the snow does appear to be quite over-sharpened (the coyote seems just fine though).

Thanks for sharing this one...cheers...

Cool post, Hisham. cool

I particularly like the way the coyote is looking back at you.

Regarding the seemingly wandering trajectory: here's something to try the next time you're in an untouched, snow-covered field.  Walk straight ahead -without looking back- for about 100 metres; then turn around and look at your own tracks.  You might be surprised to see a similar pattern... even if you thought you were walking in a straight line.enlightened
