Another view of the large ram I was lucky enough to see in Yellowstone last September. I like the look he's giving me in this image. Processed using Lightroom CC (2015) and Photoshop CC (2017) along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Canon 1DX Mark II
Canon 200-400 f4 L IS

Wow, this close up really sells the size of those horns. Love the look and the moving mouth here. Your caption seems to be right on. Nice detail in eyes, horn, fur. I just would like to see those front hooves. Picky I know. Not a deal breaker. This is really good.

Great shot, love the detail and clarity. The expression on the Rams face makes the picture. It would have been nice if you could have the entire Ram in the shot.

Wow, he's a big boy for sure! Looks like his horns are too heavy for his head, haha. He seems to be giving you a big smile for the photo!

Hi Jerry,

Given where they "hangout" most bighorn shots are taken looking UP at them...this one is certainly different in that regard! The horns are impressive. Bit of a shame about the motion blur of the lower jaw...though given no one else has commented on it yet it's obviously not a deal breaker!

Cheers...
