Raindrops On the Edge

After it rained, the raindrops traveled down these shelf mushrooms and made wonderful droplets all along and under the front edge.  I made this as large as I could.  But, the drops don't seem to show up clearly in this small format.   Wish you could see the drops!

If I didn't want to show it in its natural cool light, as per the challenge, I could use my star program to give each drop a glint. Although with such low light, it might not work....

In any case, the mushroom's rich colors are much more outstanding in this low rainy light.  In bright sunlight, the colors, of course, can wash out.

Yes, Lucy, colors do show more saturation on cloudy days.  I learned that during a fall trip to New England in the mid-1980s when it rained lightly or was cloudy the entire time, but the slides showed great colors in the foliage.    The colors are great here and you've included enough environment to show these two off very well.  You can upload a larger version (1600 px long side and 1 Mb file size).  That would probably let the drops show.

I had to look really close to see those neat drops on the edges, but I found them.  (You could post a large image in a comment if the image posting software does not allow it with an edit.)  Did not have to look close at all to see those brilliant colors, though!  Great example of the effect of flat light on colors.

Oh, I thought the largest file size was 720kb, that could be uploaded....

I'm a little confused, too about PS CC.  I had elements, which had a great save to web button on the file menu.  But, with PS CC, I have to just keep making it smaller...or is there a save to web function, which I cannot find?
