Excellent, Sandy ! Love the backdrop - the leaves emerging from the shadows - and the flower is presented sharp with all the petal textures beautifully realised. Can't think this could have been any better !!

Sandy,
Beautiful image. It really highlights the delicate nature of the petals. The bg is fairly sharp but dark enough to really let the flower shine, it really works well.

I have a concern about the petals. They seems to be over contast. The petals I have seen on a hibiscus flowers are more subtle. Good exposure an compsition,

Tack sharp on this beautiful Hibiscus. The BG is suitably mysterious and dark. The flower petals seem a bit over bright and/or undersaturated to me.

Comments are always interesting - one feels that petals are "over-bright" and "under-saturated", another thinks "over-contrast", others say "can't be any better".
Looks just about perfect to me, from here.
All comments always appreciated.

We all wonder about comments from time to time. In the main, if it appears to you as you saw it, it is done right.

Sandy: Terrific portrait of this beauty. I especially like the deep greens of the BG leaves. A very complementary presentation as well. >=))>
