Atop the glacier, the landscape resembled rolling hills. Late afternoon light lent a bit of depth to the near and far ice peaks.

Your C&C is appreciated. More here, that I will share in the coming days:

Navin,

Hard time guessing this was atop a glacier - at least not without your comments.  This does look like some rolling hills in California, only processed with some odd IR filter or something.  Knowing what this is, this is pretty cool.  The low, glancing light really helps highlight the landscape.  I don't know if it's necessary, but an alternative might be to crop down from the top to remove much of the open blue sky; I think without that, the abstractness of the landscape is enhanced a bit.  But that's not to say there is anything wrong with including the sky - the blue compliments the scene.

Looking forward to seeing more.

Reminds me of blue clay badlands, Navin.  Without knowing this was a glacier, I would have never guessed.  Excellent light and comp.  Well done.

Certainly reminds me of the badlands in Utah. Really cool image Navin!

Very well composed, Navin, like an alien landscape.  As an option it might be worthwhile to frame up a bit higher to allow more sky and crop the rise in the middle FG (just a thought).

Pretty amazing, Navin.  At first glance this could be rolling prairie.  The fact that this is all ice boggles my mind.  I'm thoroughly enjoying all of the colors and textures that the low light brings out.  Quite the icescape!

Navin, This is super cool looking and the fact it is all ice is even more impressive. I really like the colors and textures this has in it and the comp works great for me. I looked at some of the other images and you have some very nice work there. I also enjoyed the video the Bernard Chen shot with his Mavic Pro. Quite the trip!!

Beautiful landscape and image. I never would have thought ice. I might clone out a couple of the bright spots along the lower edge, but that is really minor stuff. Lovely image.

I would not have guessed a glacier surface. Wow! I like the color and textures. I think the frame is fine as-is. Nice effort on this.

Aha, I definitely knew this was on a glacier!! sad Excellent, excellent job of getting the detail and color in the ice. I am impressed that this was just f/8.  I think your ice colors are spot on, too.  Bravo!  devil
