Always nice to capture an image of a Bighorn ram and this guy is a big one. Compositionally, the grasses in front detract a bit. It would also be nice to have a tad more room for the ram to look into. As far as IQ, the image looks a bit soft. Not sure why as the shutter speed should have been high enough, even if you hand held the camera. Perhaps the focus point ended up being one of the blades of grass. Thanks for sharing.

Positives are the beautiful ram and the richly lighted golden grasses. That said the same grasses conspired to capture your camera's focus, leaving sharp stems and the face of the ram somewhat out of focus.

Really nice ram Gerald. It seems that your focus was more on the grasses in front than the ram itself. Tough conditions with all that grass in front.
