Here's a scene from a Mardi Gras parade in Baranquilla, Colombia taken last year. This group of paraders wore colored contact lenses. Olympus E-M1 and 40-150 lens at f/2.8, 1/2000 and ISO 200. Comments welcome

Yes, I like color and I think that you have really captured the spirit of Mardi Gras in this image! You have everything going for you, vibrant colors, attractive pose of participant and some craziness going on in his eyes! What's not to love?

Wow, fabulous photo and those green eyes are amazing! Looks like a wonderful celebration to attend. Great travel picture. I like the way he is looking back, surrounded by all the colorful feathers.

Richard, this is without a doubt a truly top notch PJ piece, so full of vivid color as so well framed, worthy of National Geographic. I've been to numerous Mardi Gras events around New Orleans, but nothing to compare with this. devil
