I was fortunate to spend a few hours with a flock of Waxwings that were hawking insects flying above a marsh.

A wonderful pose and perch, Steve. Perfect dof to get everything in focus. It might be the extremely warm light, but the contrast seems a bit low to me.

Very nice portrait and catchlight of this beauty, Steve. You framed it well for the head turn.

Perfect pose and nice mossy perch. That light you had was great too. I agree with Dennis about adding some contrast and maybe burning the moss a touch. It seems a little bright to me. Great shot!

Gotta love the green and yellow tones throughout. It chose a nice perch for you.

This looks great, Steve. Nice perch and a perfect pose, and sharp tip to tip. To me it seems to have a slight overall yellow cast that I would back down just a little.
