Nice to see the flora gallery so active this Valentine's Day! This Bleeding Heart image was taken in my former yard/garden just before we moved in May, 2015. We like where we moved very much, but the "flower" beds at the new abode were absoultely nothing but groundcover and weeds. I am enjoying starting over, but I miss the fomer garden which had matured nicely in the 25 years I lived there. D600, 150 f2.8 sigma macro at 6.3, 1/125, f6.3, iso 400.

I like the detail and simplicity of the image. Nice clean contrasting background. Nicely composed with the diagonal stem.
